Saint Tropez | The Peninsula Of Love
Saint Tropez is impervious to trends and crises. Every year, the international elite meet here along with thousands of visitors fascinated by the beauty and glamour of La Vie En Rosé. If God created women, then Brigitte Bardot put Saint Tropez on the map as surely as any costly advertising campaign would have done. The star's presence, with her insolent natural beauty, her free spirit, and disregard for convention have contributed to building the legend that is Saint Tropez. Since the 1970's, the peaceful village has been a sexy destination and a compulsory stop for worldy-wise night owls. The most beautiful women, the most beautiful beaches, the most beautiful houses, the best restaurants, the most beautiful boutiques and luxury hotels - Saint Tropez exceeds every superlative.

Year on year, its fame increases and makes itself felt as an international reference. Naturally, the champagne flows constantly and the smart money still invest in dream properties where the party continues in total intimacy.
But, to define Saint Tropez in terms of luxury and lust would be detrimental.
Saint Tropez has been wise enough to move with the times by preserving its traditions and typical architecture, with a maze of steep streets leading visitors through ancient passageways, to dream surroundings that are still peaceful.
La Citadelle overlooks the excitement below where shopping reigns supreme. The biggest names in fashion rub shoulders with lesser-known designers and each year new shop signs blossom. For some time, the houses of Dior and Chanel have opened their summer show room in a mansion while sandals by the house of Rondini have for ages attracted connoisseurs in search of light shoes for their pretty Tropezienne feet.

Right near the harbor, from the highly picturesque sailors' cemetery, one has access to the coastal path. This walk leads right up to the Baie des Canebiers, via la Moutte and Salins beaches, and for the brave hearted, goes to Capon headland and the Cap du Pinet with breathtaking views and wild creeks to cool off in. Simply enchanting!

Les Voiles de Saint Tropez (The Saint Tropez Regatta) provides a beautiful end to the season, when, at the end of September, motorized super yachts are replaced by exceptional sailboats and traditional sloops. These vessels rub hulls elegantly, with international crews celebrating victory in a super relaxed marine atmosphere, providing a true feast for the eyes. The balcony of the Sube Hotel is unquestionably the most strategic viewpoint from which to admire the sight of these exceptional races in the harbor.

Another show is the annual Polo Team Parade that takes place in front of the harbor, which is one of the town's not to be missed festivities. During this event, The Polo Club Saint Tropez introduces the teams competing in the International Polo Cup Saint Tropez, the Season's flagship competition. This lofty equestrian parade heralds the tournament finale and celebrates a world renowned Argentine evening complete with a ritual Asado dinner and culural fanfare.

We look forward to welcoming you!
